Your new role:
As Production Designer you will be responsible for creating design drawings and information for manufacturing and suppliers, including steelwork, and framing for structures, as well as non-standard structural components. You will also support initiatives to improve various aspects of the product, such as cost, lead time, and performance attributes, and work to standardize parts and components.
What you will bring to the role:
The ideal candidate for this position should have strong skills in Revit and the ability to learn steel framing CAD programs. A basic understanding of building regulations, construction methods, and structural engineering requirements for modular buildings would be extremely beneficial. Ideally at least two years of experience in structural drafting for small-scale buildings and light gauge steel framing. Good communication skills and the ability to manage time and schedules are also important.
