About the role
The Production Manager - Creative & Production plays an integral role in the development and implementation of all digital production work, comprising short and long format video, audio and digital media. The role supports the coordination of priority marketing and student recruitment activities servicing key stakeholders from all Value Stream squads as well as Colleges and Portfolios.
The role manages resourcing, deadlines, and digital media operations to effectively support stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of production.
The position holds the key responsibility for managing the workflow of producers, script writers videographers, photographers, editors and external production providers while maintaining strong relationships with all members of the team and a wide range of stakeholders.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
Strong experience in a creative, digital and/or video role delivering successful outcomes in a complex and dynamic work environment
Strong project management experience, preferably Agile, including the ability to understand and deliver on stakeholder requirements.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management including the ability to negotiate and communicate effectively across a range of people within the organisation
Consultative and open minded with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to be proactive in taking on accountability for complex pieces of work.
Flexible, able to adapt to change quickly and work with some ambiguity, yet still deliver quality outcomes.
Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accuracy and attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and capacity to resolve work issues with limited assistance.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to provide targeted information to future students and stakeholders
Demonstrated understanding about the role of marketing and student recruitment in a tertiary education environment
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of creative teams, processes, software and best practice.
Working knowledge and experience using Adobe suite, camera or story-telling and editing skills highly advantageous.
