Aurora Dairies are currently seeking a Production Manager in the South West Region of Victoria.

Job Description
The successful candidate will have a passion for the dairy industry and have experience in assisting the management team in managing a dairy operation. The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas:
Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures
Animal Health and Record Management
All aspects of milking and general farm duties
Feeding of cattle
Animal Husbandry
Pasture Management
Machinery operation
Repairs and maintenance.
Additionally, this role will have a key focus on achieving low cost milk production through;
Obtaining budgeted operating profit margins
Meeting production and milk quality targets
Reaching feed efficiency targets such as budgeted concentrate levels/milk volume
Performance in pasture management and utilisation and achieving targets outlined within the pasture budget
Achieving the budgeted margin over supplementary feed cost targets.
Qualifications
The successful candidates will have a passion for the dairy industry and have experience in assisting the management team in managing the dairy operation.
The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:
Minimum 5 years of dairy industry experience
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture
Committed to ensuring a safe workplace
Reliable and punctual
Good work ethic and positive attitude
