Tip Top is currently seeking a Production Manager to be based at our Tip Top Carrara Site. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a dynamic and hands on role that is responsible for leading & directing activities within our Production Facility
Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of the Production Manager Position is to lead all activities associated with the timely and safe manufacture of production in accordance with GWF policies and procedures including:
- Managing a team of Production Supervisors, taking a hands-on approach to ensure high performance
- Ensuring production and products are made within specification in a safe, efficient manner utilising optimal levels of human resource and materials and orders produced in full and on time
- Identify and actively promote continuous improvement to product, processes and systems within any facet of the work environment
- Fostering a strong Safety culture within your team and the Carrara Site
- Ensure effective communication is maintained with staff and promote an open, inclusive and flexible work environment while complying with all company policies, procedures and directions
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 5-10 years strong leadership and manufacturing experience within a FMCG environment
- Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
- Strong understanding of Food Quality & Safety Standards
- Advanced communication skills and stakeholder management
- Demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally
