Reporting to the Leading Hand, and as a Production Operator you will be safety focused, production effectiveness on quality, strive on time delivery and waste reduction. You will ensure activities are carried out to achieve improvements, whilst mobile equipment is fit for use before operating.
Being a critical member of the wider team, you will participate in team activities, including the sharing of information, process improvement activities, safety projects, training and development as well as identification of training needs, you will attend training sessions and train others if and when required.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety standards
- Perform quality control testing
- Operate machines to exceed daily, weekly and monthly production targets
- Improve and maintain daily production levels
- Follow work instructions and procedures, specific checklist and accepted "best practices"
- Ensure the highest quality of standards and production
- Housekeeping and other duties as required
- Inspect bricks as they pass by the sorting station. Checking for squareness, colour, texture, chipping & cracking.
Skills & Experience required:
- A great work ethic and strong commitment to safe work practices
- Physically fit - comfortable with lifting
- Have a high attention to detail with strong experience completing quality control testing
- Experience as an operator on a production line.
- Physical fitness, as there is manual handling involved
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Good mechanical aptitude and/or trouble shooting ability
- Ability to interact well with others and join the team
