About the role
This position is responsible for building a plan and schedule for all wine movements for the winery in collaboration with the winemaking, cellar and ops planning teams:
  • Manage the Finished goods production planning process for TWE locally produced SKU's.
  • Work with the finance team to build and monitor budgets related to the finished goods production process
  • Build effective relationships with planning scheduler and winemakers which enable the resolution of issues and collaborative approach to process improvement.
  • Liaise with Commercial Teams & Supply regarding availability, low & out of stocks & queries.
  • Find and activate solutions to mitigate supply availability issues.
  • Act as a key contact with winemakers to ensure TWE production and supply is maintained.
  • Support the scheduling and delivery of NPD activity within the region by ensuring bulk wine availability and production space to support NPD projects and post launch transition to on-going business.
  • Ensure integrity of the data imported into INFOR from each supply sources, stock parameters and subsequent demand signals are valid.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of all work orders
  • To help establish, formalise and improve upon the operating processes and procedures for locally packaged products.
  • Ensure TWE production requirements with TWE Barossa are adhered to on time and in full to meet customer demand.
About you
Tertiary Qualified with a Business/ Commerce (or similar) degree (preferred), you will have minimum five years in a supply planning or manufacturing operations management role ideally in a Wine or FMCG environment.
Ability to develop and sustain robust working relationships across the business.
Using proactive communication style and influence skills for accomplishing work objectives.
  • Advanced user of Planning and ERP tools, ideally INFOR and JD Edwards.
  • Demonstrated capability in using advanced optimisation tools and approaches (e.g. simulation, business rules, heuristics, theory of constraints, etc.)
  • Thinks systemically. Understands the complexities and interdependencies of information and events to develop more effective solutions and ideas.
