The Organisation:
Our client have been operating in Victoria for many years. From small-scale projects to major developments they deliver quality projects on time and within budget.
Their main scope of work is Medium Density Town house projects.
Medium density is an ever-growing space and this is a great opportunity to join of one of the market leaders.
Role & Responsibilities:
Complete full take-offs and prepare BOQ's & Purchase orders;
Obtain and compare supplier quotations;
Take ownership of files you have been allocated including driving outcomes amongst your colleagues;
Ensure all estimates and drawings are reviewed, accurate and ready for production;
Liaise with site supervisors, Drafting, Customer Service and stakeholders.
The Successful Candidates Will Demonstrate:
Minimum 2-4 years experience in production estimating;
Demonstrated background working in Medium Density would be advantageous (Will consider someone from a Volume Builder);
Understanding of construction, techniques, terminology, costs and be able to communicate this in Layman's terms;
DataBuild experience is essential;
Effective communication and negotiation skills;
Ability to prioritise, plan and achieve project objectives across multiple concurrent projects.
