Boomaroo Nurseries’ is a world class vegetable seedling producer, supplying over 300 million seedlings to growers across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, ACT, Tasmania, and South Australia.
This position is responsible for the administration and operational support to the planning and implementation programs, key production tasks and quality.
About the role:
- Organise and take ownership of the administration for operational production processes;
- Manage QLD work instructions and SOPs and the administration of the Production Audits, in consultation with the Production Manager and the Quality Lead Advisor;
- Manage Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) onsite inspections, and record keeping requirement associated with Biosecurity and Interstate Documentation;
- Co-ordinate safety meetings and internal audits, assist with risk assessments and review them under the direction of the Production Manager and OHS Advisor;
- Ensure and collect documentation required for Organic production has been collected and filed, assist with the yearly audit and its preparation;
- Provide assistance to the Lead Quality Advisor for a specified time each week on a regular basis, for matters relating to Queensland quality;
- KPI data entry as required;
- Production of order numbers as required for the ordering and purchase of parts and supplies;
- Ordering of stationery, uniforms, and the stock control of these items.
- Production of a weekly staff bulletin from information provided by senior staff;
- Immediately reporting any problems including product quality issues, equipment faults, damages, and defects to the supervisor;
- Following Boomaroo Biosecurity, food safety and Organic production requirements.
About you:
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably AX and Agiware, with training provided.
- Experience with SAP systems.
- Experience coordinating quality and being involved in audits.
- Experience in working with a team to influence business outcomes.
- Experience providing coordination in a complex environment.
- Strong administration experience.
This is a part time role, which requires 32 hours per week.
