Your new role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for supervision of the bakery teams ensuring efficient and compliant operations including all aspects of food safety, food compliance and workplace safety.
You will:
- Supervise all HACCP, food safety, quality and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a safe and hygienic workplace
- Support the production manager to achieve team performance goals
- Monitor equipment maintenance processes to ensure minimal downtime
- Ensure shift targets and schedules are met.
An experienced Production Supervisor or Team Leader, you have excellent communication and people skills, and to be considered for this role it is essential that you hold relevant baking qualifications and/or at least 5 years' baking experience in a manufacturing/bakery site.
You also have:
- A strong understanding of HACCP principles and food safety
- Good computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems
- The ability to lead, supervise and motivate teams
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Knowledge of and experience with workplace health and safety.
