The Role
Due to continued growth at our Kewdale facility, we have a new role for Production Team Manager to oversee our teams on the day shift. This role will be responsible for driving and supporting the delivery of the specified KPI set for their allocated lines through best practice team management.
You will effectively manage, support, direct and lead the performance of the production line team to maintain manufacturing output to meet demands and achieve highest quality and efficiency outcomes to deliver product at the optimal cost.
You will support the continuous improvement of processes, productivity, and efficiency across the production lines and ensure compliance with CCEP, legislative and TCCC environmental and safety legislation and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Production Team
- Management of labour costs across allocated team
- Management of all rostered team members on shift
- Management of cycle count as per SOX requirement
- Management of ingredients and commodities.
- Management of SAP requirements in the syrup room.
Health and Safety
- Sets the benchmark for role modelling health and safety behaviour with the team
- Monitor WH&S KPI’s and performance
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation and CCEP safety policies and procedures
- Ensure Health and Safety information is communicated to the teams across all shifts
Quality & Environment
- Ensure the Supply Chain process is delivering first time quality outcomes consistent with the expectations of the relevant legislation, CCEP policy and The Coca-Cola Company
- At all times consider the protection of the brand and ensure operational decisions keep this at the forefront of thinking
- Drive a culture of sustainability that complies with all the relevant legislation and ensures CCEP is considered a leader in environmental outcomes
- Ensure that CCEP comply with the requirements of TCCC in respect to environmental matters
People Development and Management
- Continually develop the team to drive performance and engagement
- Implement and drive CCEP processes to enable a strong succession pool for all functional roles on the production line
- Manage performance outcomes with support from Production Managers
- Manage leave for all allocated production employees to minimise overtime and maximise skills across the team
- Ensure change is effectively managed through the team
- Ensure customer service is maintained during any change initiative
About you
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Manufacturing or Science (preferred but not essential)
- Minimum of 5 years in an FMCG manufacturing environment
- A proven history of customer service outcomes through the management of the productive resources
- A demonstrated record of driving value and productivity through a known methodology of continuous improvement
- A proven track record of managing relationships and building partnerships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Leading a team to maximum effect to ensure business outcomes
