Position Summary:

Reporting to the Principal IT Infrastructure Architect, the Network Engineer Professional is a key member of the Network team within Infrastructure Services. The role will provide technical expertise needed to support day-to-day network operations. You'll monitor performance of network systems and advise management when additional processing or technology enhancements are required. You'll perform troubleshooting of systems and infrastructure elements to support the diagnosis of problems.

Mandatory Skills:

Demonstrated advanced skills and experience with Cisco (Firewalls, Switching, Routing, VPN Networks, Prime Infra)
Demonstrated advanced skills and experience with F5 Local Traffic Manager
Solid understanding of multiple routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, RIP etc
Demonstrated Advanced skills in network design, implementation and support of multi-site LANS and WANs
Demonstrated skills and experience with network management tools (Solarwinds, Uptends, Thousand Eyes, Cloudwatch, Citrix Secure HUB and NPS Radius Network for Wifi)
Experience working with Cloud Solution Providers (Amazon Web Services, GCP)
Ability in solving complex networking problems, including liaising with 3rd parties for troubleshooting and fault resolution
Demonstrable written / verbal communication skills with experience in writing and developing reports
Duties and Responsibilities:

Support and maintenance of datacentre, office and transient networks and associated equipment ·
Design, implementation and support of multi-site LANS and WANs
Documenting and ongoing maintenance of Network Designs, Technical Implementation Plans, Standard Operating Procedures, Runsheets, and Knowledge Articles for supported environments ·
Support technology projects/changes activities relating to upkeep and maintenance of network infrastructure
Ensuring network meets required security standards and controls
Network automation using Terraform and Cloud formation in AWS
Network monitoring and performance tuning to support standalone and multi-site high availability environments
Technical analysis of incidents / problems / requests for networks spanning across on-prem Datacentre and external AWS/GCP cloud environments
Support major incident management process
Supporting and implementation of changes outside of regular business hours
Salary Range: >$100,000
