Program Cost Controller

About the Role

You will support the JP9101 program as required by performing various duties associated with the financial operations and reporting of Defence contracts, with a focus on the financial management and operations of the JP9101 contract.

 

Key responsibilities will also include:

  • Contract specific reporting outputs, including annual budget for JP9101 contract team, financial performance analysis and reporting in accordance with JP9101 contract KPIs and fixed price contract deliverables
  • Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to identify and schedule resources (people/facilities/materials etc.) required to implement the project / program
  • Analyse, test and validate project cost data against project objectives, deliverables, milestones and tasks
  • Gather and synthesise information from various sources to determine and recommend integrated, accurate and realistic project costings
  • Support and assist project teams / stakeholders to interpret cost data and inform how to manage project time, cost, scope, delivery
  • Develop and schedule related project tasks for non-complex projects

 

About you

You will have strong relationship management skills, with proven negotiation and influencing ability to achieve desired business outcomes. You will also be a proactive operator, capable at thinking outside the square to find innovative solutions that overcome obstacles and challenges.

 

You will have experience in a similar role and possess the following:

  • Computer literate and skilled in the use of MS Office software (Word, Excel, etc)
  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, IT, PM, Accounting
  • Ideally have undertaken a Business Analyst role previously.
