About you
As our, Program Manager, Foundation, you will call upon your experience in fundraising to lead the way on the RACGPs Fundraising strategy. Excellent communication skills are a must to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on fundraising goals and managing fundraising budgets. You will be proactive in your approach in relationship building which will be integral with external fundraising agencies, and RACGP Marketing, to develop program materials and campaigns to attract and retain donors and partners.
You will also demonstrate :
- Experience developing and driving fundraising strategy.
- Experience stewarding and successfully securing major gifts.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, relationship management skills with ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Proven ability in developing and managing partnerships, stakeholders and stewarding relationships at a senior level.
- Highly developed organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage several programs concurrently on time and to budget.
- Experience with Fundraising CRMs.
- Proven experience enhancing existing systems and processes, and developing new ones; to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Critical thinker and decision maker who can contribute at a leadership level and support wider organisational objectives.
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
Reporting to Research and Foundation Manager, you will manage relationships that will assist with the delivery design and development of the RACGPs fundraising strategy. In collaboration with the Research and Foundation Manager, external agencies and member engagement, you will design and deliver RACGPs Fundraising Programs including: appeals, major gifts, bequests and trusts and foundations with consideration to future regular giving, peer to peer and community fundraising opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement the fundraising strategy in collaboration with Research and Foundation Manager and Chief Policy Officer and the wider team, creating a robust pathway for sustainable revenue growth.
- Work closely with the Research Team to ensure that the RACGP Foundation and Research Strategies and activities are aligned.
- Analyse relevant data and report on strategy progress and outcomes and to inform decision-making, program development and continuous improvement.
- Source, grow and secure new long-term and sustainable funding opportunities in line with revenue targets and organisational strategy.
- Develop and implement donor acquisition and retention strategies and programs, tailoring stewardship approaches for members and supporters, including cultivating relationships with, and through, RACGP Faculties.
- Work with external fundraising agencies, and RACGP Marketing, to develop program materials and campaigns to attract and retain donors and partners.
- Manage and monitor RACGPs fundraising activity across individual giving and trusts and foundations, including data analysis and reporting on performance.
- Analyse program results and donor data, alongside industry benchmarks, to identify giving trends and inform ongoing program and stewardship development and execution.
- Develop and manage the fundraising revenue and expense budget in collaboration with the Research and Foundation Manager to ensure adequate resourcing to meet revenue targets while maintaining ROI.
