About the role
The program area for this position is the OOHC Program now referred to as In Care Services which includes, Kinship Care Program, Kinship First Supports, Foster Care, Keeping Connected Sibling Model and the Respite and Placement Coordinator and other programs. The In-Services Care Program are part of the bigger OOHC programs which also includes TCP, Youth Services, Better Future and Home Stretch.
Reporting to the Senior Program Manager of OOHC, the In Care Service Program Manager, will be responsible for the operational oversight of In Care Service programs including staff, budget, liaison and partnerships with departments, compliance, administration as well as supporting and overseeing the regional operations of the Southern OOHC programs.
About You
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the OOHC and Child Protection sectors
Experience in leadership and management, program implementation, service planning including monitoring, evaluation and maintenance of standards
Proven ability to supervise, manage and support staff to build a competent team of professionals to work with and address the individual and specific needs of Aboriginal families
Tertiary qualifications in the field of social work, psychology or community services.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the child, youth and families’ sector in a leadership capacity
Requirement: Current COVID-19 vaccination (Including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a valid Victorian Driver's License
