We have a 12-month fixed term opportunity for a Project Administration Officer supporting Yurika project teams on a major renewable energy project in Central Queensland, and are inviting applications from suitably qualified, local candidates.
The Project Administration Officer provides effective site-based project and program support to the project team and contributes to the successful delivery of project on time and within budget through the application of relevant knowledge and skills.
The position is a 100% site-based "drive in, drive out" role and the successful applicant will be required to work away from home on a 5/2 weekly roster.
The candidate:
It is critical that you are available and willing to meet the travel and site-based working requirements for this position. You reside in the Central Queensland region and have a current open driver's licence.
You have previous experience as a project administration officer in the construction, mining or renewable energy industries. You hold a Certificate III in Business Administration (or equivalent level of proficiency and experience).
You have a demonstrated ability to produce project correspondence and documentation (such as infographics, charts and reports) to a high standard of quality, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This is a fast-paced project role so you will have excellent time management, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills, and an ability to work productively under minimal supervision.

The position has been evaluated as Administrative Employee Grade Four (AE04). Remuneration will range from $85,776 to $94,029 per annum, plus allowances and superannuation. The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the successful applicant’s knowledge, skills and competencies that are required in these positions. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Energy Queensland Union Collective Agreement 2020.
