Details: A short term opportunity is available within the Canberra Hospital Expansion Project team for 3 months from 13 June 2024.
The Project Clinical Liaison has the responsibility for providing the clinical interface to achieve completion of models of care, health planning unit briefs and facility concept design processes, whilst supporting stakeholder engagement for the completion of the Canberra Hospital Critical Services Building.
In particular, the Clinical Liaison will:
- Provide advice and input into the development of strategic, organisational and contextual planning information research and advice to clinical services and facilities for the Project;
- Provide high level strategic and operational advice and support to senior executives, the Canberra Hospital Expansion Project Board and consultants in relation to all services to be delivered within the new facility;
- Provide open, honest and transparent communication on work status, issues escalation, and a solution-focussed approach to Project challenges and arising issues;
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with clinicians and Canberra Hospital Expansion Project executive team to ensure that the Project delivers on the functional and operational requirements of the hospital.
Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in health, management or a related discipline, and experience in a social policy or planning environment are both highly desirable.
- Experience in Project Management and knowledge of health service planning processes, issues, and developments in the health sector in Australia are desirable.
Note: This is a temporary position available 13 June 2024 until 13 September 2024 with the possibility of extension up to six months. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
