Project Co-Coordinator

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities.

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our dynamic Projects & Workplace Solutions team on a maternity leave cover until October 2023.

The Project Coordinator responsibilities include working closely with our Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to prepare comprehensive action plans including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. 

Furthermore, the responsibilities will also include:

• Perform various coordinating tasks such as preparation and monitoring of project plans, costs schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures
• Maintaining exceptional client relationships, develop stakeholder lines of communication and ensuring superior project delivery to exceed the client’s expectations.
• Support the project team to perform to client expectations, maintaining an environment that is outcomes focused and encourages open communication.
• Support the review of construction documents for completeness and ensure all area personnel are aware of the scope and obligations under the contract.
• Support the development and delivery of client level schedule of works within the key delivery phases.
• Contribute to evaluations of project performance and recommend actions for improvement of processes.

This is a high performing role that is accountable for maintaining exceptional client relationships therefore we are seeking those with excellent communication skills as well as;

• Relevant qualifications would be highly regarded  Proven work experience (3 years plus) in a project, construction or similar role.
• Experience in project management, from conception to delivery would be highly desirable.
• A strong sense of accountability and responsibility. 
• An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans 
• Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management as you will be working on multiple projects simultaneously 
• Strong client-facing communication and teamwork skills
