About the opportunity:
SHA Premier Construction currently have an opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to join the office-based team to manage our end-to-end retail refurbishment and new building projects. Success will require a hands-on Project Coordinator, with strong attention to detail combined with the ability to oversee several geographically dispersed projects simultaneously. Key responsibilities will include:
- Systems administration for the Construction and refurbishment arms of the business, including raising, issuing, and closing work orders.
- Tendering for works and evaluating quotes.
- Support with site inspections, quality control, coordination of trades and supplies equipment.
- Procurement administration for equipment for all retail refurbishment projects and managing the master equipment lists for department and specific projects.
- Collating progress claim package documentation for internal approval and payment.
- Reviewing design documents and preliminary drawings for accuracy against latest standards as required.
- Compiling site calendar with latest construction project dates to relevant stakeholders in the business on a weekly basis.
About you:
- Master of Construction Management qualification (or working towards), or equivalent experience.
- Previous relevant Australian experience, working within the construction industry.
- Experience in the coordination of a portfolio of projects, with experience in retail being advantageous.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project.
