Join our team of intelligent and collaborative Changemakers and make your mark on tomorrow! In this role, you’ll work with the Principal Project Coordinator and wider Mine Waste team as a Project Coordinator.
Based within Perth, this role will require you to provide high level support to the Project Manager to mitigate risk and facilitate delivery of both intercompany, and multi-disciplinary projects on schedule and within budget.

What you’ll do:
Contributing to successful project delivery in accordance with Project Management best practices and effectively engaging with Clients and stakeholders
Assisting with the preparation, monitoring and updating of project delivery documentation including project management plans, risk registers, HSE plans, and other documentation as required
Drafting intercompany agreements and facilitating the sign-off process in accordance with internal processes
Updating internal project delivery plans, including drafting monthly project reviews for Project Manager review
Project financial management and control including but not limited to:
Arrange setup of new projects in ERP system, including development of project work breakdown structures, revenue and cost budgets
Monitoring and reporting of project progress, and assist Project Managers to forecast cost to complete
Variance analysis for cost and schedule, including identification of exceptions and assisting Project Manager to ensure corrective actions as appropriate
Assist Project Manager issuing monthly invoices, ensuring invoice aligns with contractual agreements and client requirements
Preparing Purchase Orders
Approving and tracking of creditor invoices
Liaising with the Project Finance Specialist (PFS) to update budgets and maintain accurate financial information and revenue recognition on projects
Updating project work breakdown structures and project budgets, as required, ensuring correct documentation
Scheduling, creating and updating project schedules to align with project and client requirements
Project change management, including assisting Project Managers with variations and updating relevant project documentation
Liaise with Project Administration in relation to mobilisation, travel requirements, logistics and document control processes
Assisting with the preparation, monitoring and updating of health and safety documentation
Assisting with the preparation of proposals and ad hoc project documentation as required
Interacting with clients, both internal and external as project team representative
Attending and organising meetings as requested to take minutes, follow up actions and record of their completion
About you:
Financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, and project controls
Previous experience in a project management / consultancy environment is desirable
Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well within a team environment and autonomously
Computer and software skills comparable to role, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite applications and Enterprise Resource Planning systems
