Downer Defence is the lead contractor providing Estate Maintenance and Operation Services (EMOS) for the Department of Defence in Queensland and Southern New South Wales. As lead contractor within the region we deliver a suite of services to support Defence capability.

We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated and positive Project Administrator to join the Estate Development team. You will make a significant contribution in helping Defence and Downer deliver Project Delivery Services within the Estate Appraisal Management service line.

About your role

Reporting to the Estate Development Manager, this position requires you to plan, organise, and prioritise your work in order to meet strict deadlines and provide timely and accurate information to all stakeholders.

Other key duties will include:

• Support with project work orders, purchase orders and invoicing
• Ensure project data captured and entered into the system
• Schedule performance meeting with key stakeholders
• Support with program registers and ensure reports are delivered on time

About you

You are a motivated and energetic Project Administrator, ideally with experience within a Facilities or Maintenance environment. You will also have:

• Extensive experience with developing detailed reports
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and establish timeframes for task completion

• Proficient computer skills - MS Office applications, in particular Excel (intermediate to advanced)
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
