About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our team on our Collie Battery Energy Storage System (CBESS) Project located in Collie on a Full-Time project contract basis. This role is available on a 10/4 DIDO roster from Perth, with a local roster available for those residing in the Collie region.
Reporting to the Package Manager you be responsible for supporting the Package Manager with the plan, design and management of construction activities and processes.
In addition some of your key tasks will include
- Preparing work pack documentation
- Creating, tracking and resolving technical queries with the company
- Preparation of reports and schedule works
- Providing data with regards to variation orders and site instructions
- Observance of Safety Requirements
- Interpret designs, diagrams, plans, layouts and schematics
- Ability to analyse and resolve drawing and technical queries
- Prepare technical specifications, engineering documents
About You
To be successful in this position you will hold tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and with at least 5 years experience in the heavy construction industry. You will have experience in managing sub-contractors and monitoring progress against schedules and scope of work.
In addition, you will be able to demonstrate the following

- Strong analytical and design skills
- Well-developed stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
- High level of commitment to safety
- Strong computer literacy
