The Monadelphous Coastal Projects Team operates out of our Karratha workshop delivering brownfields sustaining capital projects across coastal ports and inland mine sites. The Team’s project portfolio covers a range of projects including SMP (Structural, Mechanical & Piping), NPI (Non-Process Infrastructure), Civil and Marine.
The role of Project Engineer will see you on a 5:2:4:3 FIFO roster to Karratha from Perth and responsible for delivering an array of capital upgrade projects in a brownfield’s environment, working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
In addition Monadelphous is seeking a Project Engineer (SMP) to support our operations in Tom Price in a 9:5 roster from Perth, responsible for providing comprehensive engineering support to brownfields projects, including tasks such as building client relationships, preparing high quality reporting and defining scope of work.
Key Responsibilities
Project management: defining scope, ensuring compliance, project documentation, client liaison, budgeting and cost control, scheduling, quality control and risk management
Build project estimates and assist in crafting tender submissions
Lead the blue-collar workforce during execution of work
Interpret drawings, standards, and client procedures
Engage and manage sub-contractors
Build and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders

What you will bring
Experience in project management, ideally in a brownfield’s environment
Previous on-site experience
Demonstrated problem solving ability
Strong technical knowledge with an ability to influence scope development and adapt to changing conditions
High attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal skills
Proof of right to work in Australia
Tertiary qualification in engineering (beneficial)
Previous experience with structural steel erection and welding (beneficial)
