The Opportunity
Our team is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to join us in Adelaide. As a Mechanical Site Engineer, you will play a vital role in the planning, execution, and closing of projects.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will provide technical, administrative, and support for Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Sustainability (HSEQS) to the Construction Manager and Supervisors.
Key accountabilities for the position:
Preparing safety and construction documentation; to procurement; to preparing, tracking and forecasting against a construction budget
Administer the activities of the contract works, ensuring all elements of Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures as defined in the submitted documentation are adhered to.
Assist the Project Manager in the administration of the project works.
Ensure appropriate permits and approvals are in place to facilitate daily works activities. Manage and ensure daily works activities are undertaken in accordance with all permits, approvals, design drawings, specifications and work management plans.
Required Skills and Competencies
Several years’ experience as a project-based engineer in the construction engineering industry and civil exposure would be highly desirable.
Civil works experience highly desirebale.
Construction Induction Training (CIT/’White Card’)
Ideally Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card
