About the role:
Due to continued growth, RMC are now seeking to appoint a new Project Engineer. As part of our highly skilled construction and engineering team you will be responsible for effective planning of track construction within multi-disciplined greenfield and brownfield environments, for passenger and freight rail networks. Your other duties will also include:
Assisting with preparation of construction documentation.
Hand back track and commissioning after construction and maintenance works.
Liaise with track machines operators and surveyors during track construction.
Assist with preparation of site construction estimates, budgets and reports.
Devise project plans and then monitor construction progress against program
This position can be based out of either our Brisbane, Sarina or Newcastle offices.

About you:
At RMC we hire on cultural fit first and technical fit second, however to be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
Relevant Engineering degree and/or significant relevant experience working on Rail Construction, Engineering and Metropolitan Rail Infrastructure Projects
Relevant project management, planning and estimating abilities alongside exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to pass a Category 3 Rail Medical Assessment
An open and current Drivers Licence
