Project Management Office (PMO) Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for effective oversight of the
Project Management Office and successful coordination of significant and competing programs of work at Benetas. The role provides strategic advice to the Executive and coaching to key stakeholders on contemporary principles, methodology and tools for effective project and change management. The role will have an impact on more consistent practice in these domains and uplift in project and change management capability across the business whilst providing greater transparency and sequencing of projects.
A typical day will have you:- Develop and implement the PMO strategy and establish PMO governance frameworks
- Provide strategic advise, communicate effectively and collaborate with project teams, stakeholders and senior management
- Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of the project delivery
- Implement Project Management methodologies, tools and best practices accross the organisaiton
- Provide guidance and support to project managers on using appropriate methodologies
- Oversee project resource allocation and capacity planning and coordinate with project sponsors and functional managers on the skilled resources
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and develop programs and strategies to manage risks and issues
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance and establish processes to address quality issues and enhance project outcomes
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives with the PMO team
We’re looking for someone with:
- A tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Project Management, or a related field
- Project and change management certification and/or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management Office and utilising Project Management approaches and tools
- In depth experience/understanding of multi-disciplinary program and Project Management approaches and their integration into general programs (eg: Agile, Waterfall, etc)
- Highly knowledgeable and experienced on organisational change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Demonstrated understanding of risk management, quality assurance, and compliance frameworks
- Proven experience of how people are successfully led through a change, including evaluating success
- Human-centred design experience or utilising consumer/employee co-design principles (desirable)
- Experience with organisational change management in Health and/or Aged Care (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and stakeholder management
