A newly created opportunity for an Project Manager in a permanent capacity, is required to join this innovative, and reputable Global Organisation, based in close proximity to Fortitude Valley.
The Project Manager will have responsibility to deliver large-scale technology refresh and uplift based infrastructure projects.
Additionally, the successful candidate will use analytical and project management expertise in the delivery of projects that enable transformational changes defined within the IT Strategy of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager will include, however not limited to;
- Measure performance using standard tools and techniques and take proactive, corrective action if initiatives deviate from the approved plan
- Report on the health of the initiatives, adhering to standard templates and systems
- Work collaboratively with the engineers and other key stakeholders to deliver the required outcome
- Facilitate and/or support required meetings and or ceremonies
- Support the technology business partners and Infrastructure leads on prioritizing work and ensuring commitment is within capacity and aligned to approved scope
- Consult with stakeholders across the business, removing blockers and advocating best practices
- Organise and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
- Demonstrated IT, project management or related field, or significant progress towards such qualifications, and extensive relevant experience; or equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experience.
- Ability to collaborate extensively with stakeholders, internal teams and industry partners.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of people and to write clear and precise user and technical specifications.
- Ability to take responsibility, work well under pressure and to manage conflicting demands.
- Experience in managing 3rd party vendors and hold them to account

- Experience in Jira and Confluence and supporting collaboration tools
- Relevant tertiary qualification, in business or similar combined with additional qualifications that demonstrate a passion for technology delivery in a complex environment
