ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Manager will be involved with several significant Design and Construct projects within the Defence and Water sectors. The successful Project Manager will collaborate with key vendors, subcontractors, site supervisors and engineers to ensure profitable operation and delivery of key projects.
Your key responsibilities include:
End-to-end Project Management of electrical infrastructure within industrial and commercial sectors
Manage the delivery program and planning activities to ensure efficient use of resources to meet client requirements
Ensure safe work practices during the installation of electrical plant and equipment, as per Project Safety Plans
Maintain strong client relationships to assist project delivery and enhance customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business opportunities
Ideally you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering with proven experience in project management from a design and construct perspective
Strong understanding of the electrical trade, including any legislative and safety standards
Ability to interpret Electrical Schematic drawings and procedures (Switchboards, control circuits, valve operations, basic motor control circuits.)
Design and Construct experience would be a distinct advantage
Experience within the water industry would also be preferable but not essential
