Hays Office Support and Construction specialises with an industry leader who specialise in custom residential builds. Located in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs, they are seeking an experienced, passionate Project Manager to join their high-performing team. In order to support high value and complex projects, they are seeking a full-time employee to make an immediate impact and contribute to their team.

Your new role

• Located in Melbournes South East | Dandenong South and surrounding suburbs
• End to end project management of complex projects ranging from 1.5M - 8M
• Client management: Consistent updates to clients via phone and written communication during construction phase, providing support to site managers
• Update customers during the pre-site process and ensure all communication is recorded accordingly.
• Manage and set expectations of key stakeholders (drafts, estimates and design) to ensure timely project delivery
• Prepare and review key documentation prior to contract generation
• Complete ownership of your workflow and manage challenges in a professional and efficient manner
• Exhibit proactive and innovative behaviours in order to expedite projects
• Support estimating team and site management with current documentation
• Direct responsibility for ensuring that all required quality checks are completed in a timely manner in line with pre-site QC procedures

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven and demonstrated experience in a Project Management role within the construction industry
• Experience working in residential custom-built environment would be high advantageous.
• Highly proficient at managing high-value projects, you will be a self-starter with process improvement abilities.
• Exceptional organisational skills with a high degree of attention to detail across all documentation
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Experience with construction pre-site processes and procedures including PSI, town planning and service authority approvals
