An Australian Federal Government Department is looking to engage a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join the multidisciplinary team base out of either there Canberra or Brisbane office. You will lead issue escalation, resolution, analysis, planning, and monitoring activities. The successful Project Manager will secure a 6-month contract with extension options partnered with a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Project Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Coordinating project activities and apply project management practices and methodologies to support the assistive technologies and policy development.
Analyse and interpret project performance against agreed plans and implement strategies to achieve project outcomes.
leading meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to develop and test policy ideas.
Managing and contributing to the drafting of a range of program/project activities including the production, delivery and management of project schedules, budgets, reporting requirements.
The successful Project Manager will have experience in the following:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
Excellent written communication skills, including attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality briefs and papers.
Ability to operate under broad direction with independence to think critically, analyse and solve very complex or sensitive problems.
Demonstrated experience in project management at an exceptional level.
