We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Project Manager - Civil
What you'll do:
You will manage and deliver assigned civil engineering construction projects.
Using the Perth Airport project management framework you'll maintain relationships with suppliers, submit monthly financial reports, ensure contracts are administered properly including change control, documented control, progress payment approvals, and any scope claims are properly processed and approved.
Day to day you will be undertaking procurement activities, including writing scope of works, drafting letters of award, contract preparation, contract management, assessment of claims and invoicing.
You'll build strong business relationships with project owners, designers, contractors and stakeholders, to enhance Perth Airport’s business reputation. You'll be working towards achieving targeted financial performance with a strong focus on commerciality.
About you:
You are deeply experienced in the delivery of civil engineering projects in complex environments such as aviation, transport, defence or manufacturing. You'll have run projects end to end in your own right but know how to work as part of a team. You are resourceful.
You can demonstrate commercial understanding of contractual rights and obligations, and cost control and stakeholder management. as it relates to projects. You are self-directed and make appropriate decisions after gathering facts and assessing risks. You make decisions by balancing analysis and assessment of alternatives with decisiveness and a strong bias for action.
