Part of this growth has created the opportunity to select and retain an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of client implementations; he/she/they will add their skills and expertise to a growing number of consultants in the region, all driven to delight customers.
The Opportunity
The Project Manager is ‘full hands-on’ responsible for a number of Asia Pacific complex and concurrent software implementation projects, working in strong partnership and collaboration with both the company’s delivery team and customer stakeholders alike.
The Project Manager will adhere to the client agreed scope, timelines and budget, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction driven from clear communication, delivering on commitments and professionalism with internal and external parties
Key Responsibilities for this role:
Plan, control and communicate the progress of the projects under management, achieving milestones using the global resources at their disposal
Effective and transparent management of customer expectations, maintaining synchronicity and ensuring every party is on the same page. This includes continuously reinforcing individual team members’ responsibilities, project governance and risk management and mitigation actions
Manage the sign-off of key milestones and deliverables since inception stages, taking ownership of all the activities intended to maintain projects on track (reporting, meetings, health checks, change requests, UAT, go live, etc)
Effectively transition customers to the Customer Success and Support teams
Contribute to enhancement of the Project Management practice and PMO
Support team members with best practice contributions throughout the project
Key essentials for the role.
PMI/PMP certification accompanied by 3-5 years Project Management experience in a complex software implementation environment in the HCM space
Strong expertise in the management of MS suite, managing complex software roll out projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and mastery of Microsoft Project
Exposure to HRIS systems that reside in SaaS / Cloud computing environments. Having experience with Workday, SFDC, SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Kronos, JDA, Oracle HR/Payroll, PeopleSoft, will be well regarded
Robust understanding of common software implementation methodologies
Expertise in managing multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently, who might be competing for time and resources which are by nature not unlimited.
Displaying the people and organisation skills expected of seasoned client-facing professionals: managing priorities, being able to communicate, collaborate and ‘do what you say you will do’.
