About The Role
We have an opportunity for a self-motivated and experienced Information Technology Project Manager to join our Technology team, based in the Perth office.
This role will have the opportunity to lead a diverse range of technology projects from operations, enterprise systems and be a senior member of the team. The IT PM is accountable for managing all aspects of an IT project lifecycle to ensure the prescribed scope is delivered to the agreed budget, schedule and quality. The role also contributes to the IT PMO and project delivery framework.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team member with excellent communication skills who is able to prioritise work according to business drivers and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
You Will
Lead project teams through the design, documentation and implementation of solutions to achieve business objectives.
Develop project plans from business, technical and functional requirements – including authoring project approval submissions.
Update and engage directly with senior management including the CIO and members of Iluka Executive, and lead steering committees relevant to larger projects.
Ensure capacity planning is proactively performed in all project deliverables.
Ensure project team members remain aligned with project goals and objectives.
Ensuring compliance with standards, policies and processes to maintain consistency and integrity.
You Have
A tertiary qualification or a diploma in the field of technology, computer science, business or related discipline. PM Certification (PMBOK/Prince2) is desired but not essential.
Proven experience demonstrating responsibility for the project management of IT projects.
Sound knowledge of formal project management methodologies.
Experience managing external suppliers of technical services and resources.
Experience managing enterprise-wide software implementation projects.
Experience in delivering successful IT Projects ideally within the mining and resources sector.
