The Company:
My client is a nationally-established commercial design and construct group that delivers a diverse range of fitout, refurbishment and redevelopment projects across the commercial, government, hospitality, medical, and retail sectors valued up to 15mil.
With 4 offices nationally, this group enjoys an ongoing consolidated pipeline of work as a result of strong relationships with institutional blue-chip clients - landlords, investment funds, private owner/developers, healthcare providers etc.
The Role:
Reporting to the Construction Manager/Project Director, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of your own key client portfolio, ensuring that the client's requirements are understood and translated through the design/delivery process.
You will be heavily involved throughout the associated strategic client engagement, ECI/D&C, value engineering and project planning phases. Given the D&C nature of their work, there is a high level of collaboration between PMG's Client/Business, Preconstruction, Design and Project Delivery Teams nationally.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead Project Teams including Site Managers, Contract Administrators and Cadets
Lead strategic project/client engagement functions, including ECI/D&C, value engineering and ongoing project delivery
Interpret, understand and execute Head Contracts, as well as implementing commercial contract risk mitigating strategies
Ongoing management of projects financials and expenditure inline with budgets
Qualifications and Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar, or trade qualification
Minimum 3 years’ experience working for a commercial contractor delivering design-focused construction/fit-out/refurbishment projects up to the value of 2mil.
Strong financial analysis and administrative focus
Ability to write detailed scopes, programmes and construction methodologies
Experience leading client interactions throughout the D&C/ECI process
