Period of Appointment

Appointment to the role is on a fixed term flexible (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight) basis for two years.

Duties
Lead the delivery of stakeholder engagement, external and internal communications for the Bridgewater Bridge Project, developing and managing relevant program strategies, policies and operational approach.
Work as an effective member of the Bridgewater Bridge Project management team, including engagement and oversight of specialist consultants and contractors.
Provide strategic advice on communication and engagement matters that affect the Bridgewater Bridge Project; strategically plan to meet future needs for resources and expertise for the life of the project; provide leadership in relation to engagement with public service corporate media and publication governance systems.
Ensure relevant and effective communication, marketing and stakeholder engagement strategies and briefs are designed and deployed, including those developed and delivered by external consultants. This includes the ongoing monitoring, evaluation and review of strategies.
Provide high-level specialist and strategic advice and recommendations to the Project Director on complex stakeholder and communication issues, including oversight of Ministerial correspondence and project publications.
Develop and implement effective strategies and risk management to ensure realisation of communications and stakeholder engagement outcomes.
Develop, implement, maintain and review appropriate systems and procedures that support the effective and efficient provision of stakeholder engagement, marketing and communications activities of the project team.

Desirable Requirements
A current full car driver licence
Tertiary qualifications in public affairs, marketing, communications or related discipline.
