AddressReporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for leading the Medication Management and Maternity module implementation of TrakCare EMR for 11 health services across South West Victoria. The role will lead a team of internal project staff and work closely and collaboratively with vendors to ensure the objectives and benefits of the project are delivered. Building highly effective and efficient project to deliver a clear implementation plan and roadmap that is delivered on time and within budget. The role will be based in Warrnambool, Victoria.
Responsibilities:Project Management, managing inter-project dependencies, resource demands and project priorities.
Liaise with helath sector members and ICT providers to ensure issues and initiatives are communicated and understood.
Ensure Project planning is of the highest quality and that Projects are generally delivered as planned.
Assistance with the development of ICT enabled business cases / Statements of Works for areas of the business.
Involvement in directorate aligned committees, working parties and ICT enabled project steering groups.
Development of project documentation including initiation, objectives, scope, plan, work packages, risks/issue log and resource requirements and post implementation reviews relevant to project complexity and risk.
Management or coordination of project vendors in delivering agreed services or work packages as per contractual obligations.
Experience:
Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems proactively identifying improvement opportunities to add value to business operations.
Project Management experience particularly implementing ICT network infrastructure from design to handover.
Demonstrated effectiveness in a role which interacts with all levels of stakeholders.
Proven ability to write business cases, gather requirements and document processes.
Proven ability to influence key stakeholders and team members to design and deliver optimal solutions.
Knowledge or experience in structured project management methodologies (eg. PRINCE2, PMBOK, AGILE, LEAN, etc.).
