ABOUT US
The Circular Economy Exchange (CEE) is an all-in-one digital procurement, investment and reporting platform which bridges the gap between linear corporations and circular businesses.
It is an industry-to-industry solution designed by Circular Economy operators with first hand knowledge of market gaps and opportunities.
The CEE will be piloted in 2024 as a Sustainability Victoria funded project that is being led by collaborating Circular Economy businesses Reground, Farmwall & Sporadical City Mushrooms.
ROLE SUMMARY
- Part time: 4 day week
- Fixed Term Contract: Jan 2024 - December 2024
- Remuneration: $85,000 pro rata + 11% Super
- Reports to: CEE Project Advisory Group
This project aims to accelerate The Circular Economy growth and impact through exchange of resources between linear & nonlinear businesses via transparent, qualitative, impact driven ESG reporting and quantifiable data exchange.
As it becomes mandatory to report on and implement circular solutions into supply chains, corporations struggle to find and access proven, data-driven, and local circular products and services. The CEE will be a one-stop-shop platform enabling corporations to invest for impact. Through the sector-unifying platform, a diverse range of organisations will grow their circularity-boosting services and programs which work towards recognised national and international sustainability metrics, certifications and goals such as SDGs, ESG and NABERS.
The CEE platform will provide member corporations with easy access to impact data as they support the implementation of circular solutions of member Circular Economy businesses (CEBs), enabling CEBs to improve The Circularity & impact of their operations. Investment by member corporations into The Circular Economy via The CEE will allow CEBs to commercialise & scale quickly while demonstrating their impact through meaningful and strategic data collection. This data will then be made available to enable member corporations to report on ESG initiatives in real time.
This 12 month project involves establishing a preliminary digital platform prototype to house the CEE that will be piloted and tested in partnership with participating CEBs, and corporations.
Three key areas of the project include: * Research State-of-Play, including conducting corporate consultation, report on outcomes and baseline data, develop funding system framework and exchange metrics, and CEB vetting program.

- Develop & test software for CEE on Bubble.io. MVP platform to include: dashboard and traceability report for corporate partners, data tracking function for CEBs, CEB index page, and CEB page.
