About the role
This Project Manager role will form part of our Cooma based team. As a senior member of the South Coast Region team, you will direct a multi-disciplinary team delivering professional project management and advisory services for NSW. With demonstrated skills and experience in planning and executing infrastructure projects of varying scale and complexity.
This fast paced, exciting role provides the opportunity to contribute to significant infrastructure projects that make a real difference to NSW regional communities. You will:
Work with a range of stakeholders to maximise public value in infrastructure planning, program delivery and asset operation
Manage projects from inception, scoping, design, construction and through to post completion
Direct and mentor others and have budget responsibilities
Be responsive and proactive in your dealings with clients
Confidently communicate with stakeholders and be competent at managing budgets and delivery timelines effectively
What is in it for you
The option to work flexibly, with a combination of working from home and in the office/ at the project site depending on the project phase. A minimum of 3 days per week would be located onsite or in the Cooma Office.

The type of projects you will be working on:
Project and contract management of:
Water supply schemes for villages and townships in the Canberra Region
Targeted asset condition assessments and subsequent rectification works
Design and construction of Water and Sewerage Treatment Plants
About you
To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have the following:
Degree qualification/s in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building or construction (civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical or electrical/networks) and/or related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development;
Well-developed knowledge and understanding of current Work Health and Safety legislation and regulations;
Demonstrable reading and writing abilities, and attention to detail; and
A valid NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive to remote locations which may include overnight stays
