The Role
St John of God Health Careis seeking a talented Project Manager – Work Packages to join the Project Services, Change & Resourcing team.
As a Project Manager – Work Packages within the Digital, Information and Technology (DI&T) team, you will be accountable for planning, coordinating and managing the delivery of work packages (small projects) for the Applications and Infrastructure & Platforms teams. This role will work directly with the Portfolio Managers to understand priorities, schedule packages of work and ensure these activities are adequately resourced and delivered per agreed deadlines.
You will be an independent high-performing Project Manager or Project Coordinator with a solid experience in infrastructure, application and integration projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of activities and be part of a collaborative project delivery team that adds real value to SJGHC and the services we provide.
This role will be offered on a Permanent fulltime basis working 76 hours per fortnight. We offer remote working from home and support flexibility with hours and location of work – which may be located in Perth or Melbourne.
You will have:
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care
- At least one (1+) years working as a Project Coordinator/Project Manager with demonstrated experience in planning, managing, coordinating and executing pieces of work of varying sizes and complexities
- Demonstrated ability to deliver multiple services in parallel using distributed teams with disparate skill sets, including business and IT
- Ability to inform, interpret and translate technical designs and requirements from Architects, Business Analysts, Vendors, Application Specialists, Project Managers and other IT areas to develop Work Packages, Work Items or Statements of Works
- Highly developed time management and organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization with your excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Experience working in a team orientated, collaborative environment
- Strong knowledge of information technology concepts, practices and trends, particularly in the hospital, corporate application and infrastructure/platforms spaces
Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems/Project Management (or equivalent experience) will be highly regarded, as will PRINCE2 (or similar) Project Management qualification.
