The South Australian Certificate of Education Board (SACE Board) of South Australia's primary role is the provision of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) to government, non-government and international schools.
Our purpose is to "shape education so that students thrive" which is achieved through working closely with our stakeholders to inspire, innovate and create the best outcomes for students and their communities so that SACE Graduates are capable to construct their own futures to contribute to a sustainable and socially just world.
The IMPACT you will drive at the SACE Board
SACE International is the SACE Board’s international program. Since 1982, the SACE has been delivered through a growing network of accredited schools across the Asia-Pacific.
The SACE Board seek to engage an experienced Project Officer to support the development and growth of its products and services internationally. This position is an integral part of the SACE International team plays a key role in developing an internationally respected SACE program that provides students with the capabilities to thrive.
What you will BRING
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to respond proactively to changing circumstances and adjust plans when necessary
- Be able to conduct basic research and analysis which will help inform the team project directions
- The capability to work independently and collaboratively within and across teams
- A willingness to embrace change and lead with focus and optimism in an environment of complexity and ambiguity
- A high level of organisational skills and the ability to meet determine priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
An appropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.
Special Conditions
- Intrastate travel to regional and remote locations; international and interstate travel may be required
- A current passport (or ability to obtain a passport) and eligibility for visas in countries offering the SACE International Program
- A current driver's licence
- Some out of hours work
- The incumbent works under the SACE Board of South Australia Act 1983
- Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Working With Children Check from the Department of Human Services and in accordance with the SACE Board policy.

ASO4 classification level. Salary range $74,315 - $77,901 per annum plus superannuation
This is a term vacancy for 12 months.
