Could you be the full-time Project Operations Manager in Dandenong that we are looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical skills and knowledge in Methods, Material Planning and Project coordinator with our Project team on the Melbourne LRV project. Reporting to the Project Manager you will work alongside motivated, dedicated and passionate teammates to deliver four streams of work.
You'll be responsible for the management and successful completion of various components, fulfilling both customer needs and committed Quality Cost Delivery Planning (QCDP) objectives. You will manage stakeholders, activities and deliverables and provide the guidance on supporting the delivery of components to the projects timelines.
We’ll look to you for:
- Cascade and allocate component requirements and QCDP objectives to component team members.
- Implement component Work Breakdown Structure.
- Plan, monitor, control and manage component end-to-end activities (scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks, saving, opportunities).
- Coordinate and support consistent execution of component objectives, activities and deliverables (Engineering, Research & Development programs, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Indus when applicable, RAMS)
- Manage component situation and key performance Indicators, and report with transparency
- Actively contribute to the resolution of overarching/transverse optimizations or issues
- Upon request from PM, is delegated to represent Alstom towards Customer and external stakeholders
- Manage interface with sub-system-level team members & project office (e.g., industrialization, control of configuration management, sourcing, quality) and ask, if necessary, for sub-system manager arbitration

- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics
- Experience in a project management role within an operational scope
- Proven experience in technical and warranty modifications and spare parts delivery within a project environment
- Experience working in the railway industry is highly preferred with experience in New Cab build
