Project Reporting Specialist

Our client seeks a Project Advisor – Reporting and Risk. On offer is an initial 12 m,onth contract Perth CBD based. This is working with a leading EPCM to a Tier 1 mining client on an iconic Western Australian Mine Closure project 

Role:

• Implement a standardised reporting on PowerBi and tracking process to support the Mine Closure Project Reporting
• Build data pipeline using Power Automate workflows (or other ETL tools) to automate reporting.
• Develop reporting templates and manage the end-to-end reporting processes.
• Collect and analysis of progress data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis from Contractors to support timely reporting.
• Collaborate with corporate reporting teams to meet business reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Cost and Contracts team on budgets, forecasts, change management and Contract Variations for accurate reporting.
•  Develop flexible and strong reporting processes to ensure data integrity for reports produced and support changes to reporting scales.

Candidate:

• 5+ year of experience working in the mining or resources industry in Project Execution Phases.
• Willingness to learn and lead as a Risk Practitioner.
• Must be open to travelling to Site on a need basis.
• Experience working in a Senior Reporting Officer role and developing Project Reporting for a wide range of projects / portfolio.
• Experience and working knowledge of SAP, CMS, Primavera and Power BI and data analytics software
• Sound understanding of enterprise risk management (including critical control) principles and practices.
