We work with owners and owners' corporations to help them rectify non-compliant or non-conforming external wall cladding products on buildings. We do this by providing support, guidance and connections to appropriately registered and qualified practitioners.
Initially set up as a business unit of the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), CSV recruited staff and built the policies and procedures needed to deliver the program from the ground up. In late 2020, CSV was established as its own statutory entity with its own Act of Parliament.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the PMO team with activities related to the reporting data and information gathering requirements for projects in CSV scope.
- Assist and support collection and collation of information from external project stakeholders to ensure projects are progressing in line with agreed standards.
- Assist in the preparation of data and reporting products for internal decision making and governance.
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:

- Business and Commercial Acumen - Demonstrated experience working in a similar project support officer function, preferably in a PMO of government and/or capital works type environment.
- Digital and Technological Thinking - Advanced MS Excel and MS Project skills including data and graphical reporting, and proficiency in the base MS Office Suite and other tools.
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving and Data Literacy - Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis to resolve problems and apply sound judgement to achieve quality outcomes.
- Communicate with Impact - Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare clear, concise and accurate reports, project briefings, presentations and recommendations on complex issues.
VPS 3 range of $73,842 to $89,661 plus 10.5% super
