One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Project Support Officer to join their high performing team. You will manage various inboxes and be the first point of contact for requests that need to be input or actioned. The role can be based from either Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or Brisbane with the ability to work a few days a week from home. The successful Project Support Officer will be offered a 12-month contract partnered with a 12-month extension.
The successful Project Support Officer will be responsible for the below:
Coordinating and providing secretariat support ensuring the team has all required information for meetings
Undertaking complex research as required by the Director
Developing appropriate systems, procedures and controls to enhance accuracy and presentation of workflows
Assisting with administrative tasks as required by the Director
The successful Project Support Officer will have experience in the following:
Experience with coordination and executive support governance
Ability to form effective working relationships with a strong team centric approach
Experience meeting quality reporting requirements including maintaining documentation and risk maintenance
Experience with ministerial briefs and putting together general communication material
