As a Provisional Psychologist | Rehabilitation Consultant in the Rehabilitation Services Team at Altius Group, you will identify and address the critical physical, psychological, social, environmental and organisational risk factors which may have an impact on a worker's ability to successfully return to work and provide strategies to address these factors in practise. Altius Group delivers services to individuals, employees, and insurers nationally across Australia, where you'll be based out of our Sydney CBD, NSW branch. Navigating complex nature of injuries, individuals, work and home environments, relationships, and personal injury schemes - is what we do best!

The role you will be doing…
Apply your clinical decision-making to manage an individual's recovery from injury or illness in the safest and most timely manner possible.
Complete return to work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
Provide holistic support to help retore an individual's highest level of functional performance through relevant assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments and Vocational Assessments.
Deliver Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training and upskilling
Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals.
Develop and Implement recover at work plans, job task analysis, labour market analysis, and job seeking canvassing.

To be considered, you have…
Completed a tertiary allied health qualification in Psychology.
Provisional registration with AHPRA (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
Genuine interest in working within Occupational Rehabilitation field
Australian working rights in Australia
Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check
A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
