Position Summary
Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse - Bairnsdale Community Mental Health Services
Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join the Bairnsdale Community Mental Health team on a on going part time Basis.
Reporting to the Manager this role plays an important role in providing quality care to our consumers at Latrobe Regional Hospital.
The successful applicant will be required to provide:
- support to consumer receiving anti psychotic medication including running of the clinics
- Conduct physical health checks on mental health consumers
- Work closely with the Mental Health Team to monitor and support all mental health consumers.
The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill. The regional mental health workforce incentive grants will support the attraction, recruitment, and retention of new workers to Latrobe Regional Hospitals mental health services in regional Victoria. This role has been identified as being eligible for an incentive payment of up to $20,000 subject to eligibility and negotiation with successful candidates. This incentive may be used to reimburse rent, childcare, school fees, relocation costs and more!

Selection Criteria Essential: Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19
Essential: Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (NMBA)
Essential: Minimum of 2 years' experience in mental health nursing.
Essential: Completion of a Nurses Board of Victoria approved Medication Administration course leading to endorsement as a Medication Endorsed Division 2 Registered Nurse
Essential: Ability to organise and complete delegated nursing care of clients
