Barwon Health North provides accessible health care close to home and to public transport bridging the gap between the acute settings at the University Hospital Geelong by providing the following services:
- Urgent Care Services
- Medical Imaging
- Child and Family Health Services
- Healthy at Home (Chronic and Complex Care)
- Dialysis
- Specialist Clinics
We are part of the Barwon Health North Area Health Team and are located at Barwon Health North. We are a multidisciplinary allied health, medical and mental health team skilled in the Paediatric age group. Our team members consist of speech therapists, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapist, complex care navigator, audiologist, psychologists, allied health assistants, child psychiatrist, dietician, and paediatrician. We follow best practice based on a family centred care philosophy.
About the role
To provide high quality care to Children and Families accessing the services and demonstrate developing professional leadership through proactive participation within the North Area Health and Child and Family Program Teams.

Essential: Endorsement in one of the following: Educational and Developmental, Counselling, Community, Health or Clinical Psychology
Essential: Registered Supervisor with AHPRA
Desirable: Experience in infant mental health, family therapy, CAMHS or child psychotherapy
Essential: Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a positive team environment.
