Fully equipped consulting rooms with materials for you to work from
Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals, you ensure integrated care and actively participate in interdisciplinary case conferences. By upholding ethical standards and utilizing your expertise, you make a significant impact on clients' mental well-being and overall quality of life. This includes assessing clients' psychological needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions.
Your role consists of conducting assessments, creating tailored treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions. Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals and engaging in interdisciplinary case conferences ensures comprehensive care. You will service clients across Cairns and rural QLD.
Permanent position with options for part time or full time!
This Clinic Offers:
Salary from $100K - $110K + superannuation
Team of administration staff to assist with appointments and organising referrals
Existing caseload for you to take over from day one
Technology and therapy resources will be provided to you
Allowance provided for travel to ensure you are reimbursed
Ongoing support for professional development, in-house supervision and peer consultation
Key Responsibilities:
See clients face to face across Cairns and rural QLD or via telehealth
Option for some FIFO work depending on client locations
Conduct individual assessments and psychological evaluations to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
Predominantly working with NDIS clients including some that are non verbal
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client treatment and progress
Requirements/Skills:
Full AHPRA registration
Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology
Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
