SalaryOur venue consists of an 80 room hotel with a la carte restaurant, 3 bars (sports, cocktail & saloon) and bistro dining alongside a 100 Single person quarter camp and associated catering arrangement with a local resource company. Most of the up to 50 staff also live on-site and this is the only pub in the town of over 1,500 residents plus a seasonal tourist trade. Make no mistake, this is a very busy hotel and to live, work, experience and explore the Kimberley region.
Key responsibilities & requirements:
Clean rooms, hallways and restrooms
Clean and maintain restaurant and bar area
Vacuum carpets
Empty bins and ashtrays
Polish furniture and fixings
Keep front of hotel free from rubbish and debris
Wash walls and ceilings, move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses
Sweep, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors
Collect solid linen supplies in floor linen closets
Maintain housekeeping carts
Remove rubbish collected by room attendants
Responsible for maintaining a time schedule for cleaning of areas
Report all unsafe work conditions including broken equipment to General Manager
Use safe manual handling techniques at all times and take a consultative role to assist in achieving a healthy and safe working environment.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor/management
