SalaryWe are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Service Technician to join our team at Neverstop Water, a fast-paced reactive and preventative service company. As a Pump Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing all water pumps, ranging from submersible waste pumps to large transfer systems, along with all connected mechanical and filtration equipment.
Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of water pump systems. This will involve conducting regular inspections, identifying any issues or faults, and implementing appropriate repairs or replacements. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in pump servicing, with sound knowledge of different pump systems and associated equipment. Prior experience in working with submersible waste pumps as well as large transfer systems is essential. A solid understanding of mechanical and filtration equipment connected to water pumps is also required.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are crucial for this role. You must be able to diagnose complex issues, develop effective repair strategies, and execute them efficiently. The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pump Service Technician or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of different types of water pumps, including submersible waste pumps and large transfer systems
- Familiarity with mechanical and filtration equipment connected to water pump systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients and team members
