Our client has an incredible career opportunity for an effective communicator and highly organised Purchasing Officer to join their successful business.
Reporting into the Supply Chain & Planning Manager, in this role you will be responsible for:
- Purchase Order Management - creating and releasing of purchase orders to our suppliers
- Channel Management - distributing PO's to the appropriate suppliers based on products, capacity and cost optimisation.
- Lead Time Management - ensuring orders are placed within the required lead time.
- Order Details - ensure all correct information has been supplied to the suppliers ie product, designs, quantities, customer details, delivery information
- MOQ - ensuring all orders are meeting the agreed MOQs
- Inventory Management and reporting for our stock products
- Provide delivery dates and tracking information to the sales team
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbally
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Apparel would be a bonus
